NeuroControl, a Cleveland, Ohio-based manufacturer of a miniature neuromuscular stimulator, has CE-marked the device for sale in Europe. The StIM system stimulates the shoulder muscles of patients who have had a stroke, to reduce pain and partial paralysis. It's electrodes are implanted using a minimally-invasive procedure.
