Hong Kong is to offer screening for the HIV/AIDs virus as part of routine antenatal blood testing, from September 1. The optional test will be offered at all Department of Health (DH) maternal and child health centres and Hospital Authority (HA) antenatal clinics. The test will also be made available at private health centres.
