Executive Summary
Czech Health Minister Bohumil Fiser confirmed that the latest version of the Czech medical devices regulation is now ready, during his interview with Michael Baker, director general of the European medical devices industry association (EUCOMED), last month. Mr Fiser said he would emphasise to the industry and trade minister the importance of including medical devices in the second wave of the PECA trade agreement between the EU and the Czech Republic. Medical devices were excluded from the first wave because Czech medical device law needed to be amended to bring it into line with EU law.
