Executive Summary
Impaired lung capacity is a significant risk factor for heart attack in men with ventricular arrhythmia, a Swedish study has found. "A lung function test could be useful for the assessment of the individual's risk of heart attack and in determining a course of treatment for a cardiac arrhythmia," the lead author of the study, Gunnar Engstrom, suggests in the June 26 issue of Circulation.
