The US FDA has cleared for sale Prosurg's bioabsorbable urethral sling products for treating female incontinence. The pubo-vaginal and sub-urethral vaginal BioSling devices have an absorption rate of 18-24 months, providing urethral support for an extended period of time, says the Silicon Valley, California firm.
