El Salvador assesses earthquake damage:

This article was originally published in Clinica

Executive Summary

El Salvador has reported damage to hospitals "throughout much of the country" following the earthquake of January 13. Preliminary assessments of damage to hospitals suggest that eight major hospitals have been completely evacuated, with reports ranging from "serious" to "minor structural" damage in many more cases. Makeshift surgical and laboratory facilities have been set up in tents and other provisional facilities. The Salvadorian authorities, with the support of the Pan American Health Organisation, are continuing to assess infrastructure and equipment needs. The country, with its population of over six million, has appealed for $1.75 million humanitarian aid for its emergency needs.
