Executive Summary

Lumenis is to provide its laser systems to Nd:YAG photodisruptor laser manufacturer Ellex Medical of Adelaide, Australia. It will make an OEM version of its diode-pumped solid state photocoagulator laser for Ellex to distribute worldwide under a three-year agreement. The companies will also collaborate to introduce additional ophthalmic laser systems. Lumenis has also signed a deal with Moria of Antony, France, which specialises in microkeratomes for refractive applications. Lumenis will offer Moria's microkeratomes with the Allegretto Wave excimer laser system, which it markets for WaveLight Laser Technologie of Germany outside the US.
