Medical equipment facilities in Vietnam are benefiting from foreign aid. The British Embassy in Vietnam has donated US$24,600 to a local hospital for the purchase of modern medical equipment and a new dialysis clinic has opened in Ho Chi Minh City thanks to an investment by Dialasie SAS of France. The dialysis hospital cost $3.1m to construct and can treat 130 patients a day.
