As countries in central and eastern Europe approach membership of the European Union, they are now working on transposing the latest in the series of medical device directives, the In Vitro Diagnostics Directive. But they are all at very different stages and still have divergent views among themselves and with the rest of Europe about IVD regulation. Amanda Maxwell went to Prague to find out about their progress
