The European Commission Decision on medical devices containing animal tissues, a ruling that sets out what are effectively mandatory requirements for these controversial products, could be adopted by November. And even if there are setbacks in the anticipated approval schedule, the Commission is optimistic that the text will now be adopted by the end of the year.
