Executive Summary
Specialty distribution company Minogue Medical is to sell ThermoGenesis' CryoSeal fibrin sealant system in Canada. The product uses a sealant derived from either the patient's own blood or from a single human donor, rather than conventional fibrin sealants which are sourced from pools of human and bovine tissue, Rancho Cordova, California-based ThermoGenesis says. The worldwide market for fibrin sealants is estimated at around $500m, the company believes.
