Executive Summary
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) has been used for the first time in Norway to halt the growth of brain tumours. The procedure has been carried out on 14 patients with glioblastoma so far, says the Norwegian state hospital (Rikshospitalet). The operations have been supported by the Norwegian cancer society.
