A major European trial is underway in Europe to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Cook's paclitaxel-eluting V-Flex Plus coronary stent in treating patients with in-stent restenosis. Results from the nine-month, multicentre, randomised, controlled In-Stent ELUTES trial, which will enrol 600 patients at 22 sites, will be used to request additional approved indications for the stent, said the Bloomington, Indiana firm.
