Executive Summary
Boulder Imaging will provide its real-time image capture and processing software, called AcquireNow, for use with the Avera breast imaging system, which is made and sold by Advanced Imaging Technologies (AIT). The Avera system, which uses diffractive ultrasound, permits rapid assessment of breast tissue, without the risk of radiation and discomfort of breast compression, said Seattle, Washington-based AIT. Boulder's founder and president, Carlos Jorquera, said that the Avera system is a perfect match for its high-resolution AcquireNow image processing software.
