BrainLAB has received US FDA 510(k) clearance for it image-guided orthopaedic trauma software, VectorVision, for use with the firm's surgical navigation system, which has the same name. The software builds a computerised 3D model of the patient's anatomy with diagnostic scans taken before surgery or allows the easy integration of fluoroscopic images of conventional C-arms, says the Munich, Germany firm.
