The UK Royal Mail has launched Safebox, a container that it claims will overcome the potential hazards of dispatching and receiving medical samples. The design of the Safebox includes absorbent cushioning and a ziplock bag. An "inner transparent chamber", allows the recipient to detect any leakage prior to handling the sample. The Safebox can also be traced at any stage of the delivery cycle.
