UK National Health Service revenues from treating private patients grew by 7.6% in 2001-02 to £359m ($567m), following two consecutive years of 4% annual growth, to £334m in 2000-01. This is according to the NHS Trusts & Primary Care Trusts Financial Information 2003 report by healthcare consultants Laing & Buisson.
