West Chester, Pennsylvania-based insulin infusion pump maker Animas has signed a deal with Cygnus, the Redwood City, California-based glucose sensing technology firm, to acquire the latter's technology. Cygnus is also seeking shareholder approval to dissolve the company, although it says this is not dependent on the sale of its assets to Animas.
