The Global Harmonisation Task Force's steering committee has begun discussing the so-called Ottawa rules concerning the three basic documents that constitute the legal framework in which the GHTF operates. These cover: roles and responsibilities; guiding principles; and operating procedures. It is organising a teleconference in November to discuss progress, although a date has yet to be set.
