Botox-developer Allergan has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Inamed, just over a month after it made its takeover bid for the breast implant maker. Medicis Pharmaceuticals, with whom Inamed had a previous merger contract, bowed out of a potential bidding war with Allergan and accepted the $90m break-up fee from Inamed.
