Instruments, implants and biomaterials manufacturer Synthes (Solothurn, Switzerland) has elected Jobst Wagner as a director of the newly-expanded 10 (formerly 8)-person capacity board. Mr Wagner is supervisory board president at Swiss polymer manufacturer Rehau Group, within which he has also had operational responsibility for purchasing and logistics.
