In an effort to attract foreign investors and companies, the forthcoming China Med 2004 medical equipment trade fair features a tender issued by the medical department of the general logistics department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army for potential medical equipment suppliers. In co-operation with the Dusseldorf, Germany-based trade exhibition centre (Messe Dusseldorf), China Med 2004 has also introduced a new online service known as the "Virtual Exhibition", which will enable exhibitors to present their latest products and technologies on screen at the fair.
