The number of Danish adverse incident reports concerning medical devices has risen uniformly since 1995 as a result of better information and awareness on the behalf of manufacturers. However, hospitals and medical staff are not fulfilling their reporting obligations, despite efforts to encourage this. So says a report by the Danish medicines agency (Laegemiddelstyrelsen).
