This article was originally published in Clinica

Executive Summary

Hong Kong's health authorities are about to sign an agreement with the UK's Health Protection Agency (HPA) to develop joint research, training and emergency planning projects. So announced Norman Warner, parliamentary under-secretary of state to the DoH in the Lords, at last week's second reading of the HPA Bill. The news comes as Hong Kong prepares to establish a Centre for Health Protection, modelled on its UK counterpart.
