"Lab-on-a-chip" company Affymetrix is to integrate ExonHit Therapeutics' alternative RNA splicing technologies into its own GeneChip microarray platform. The first custom-designed GeneChip arrays featuring ExonHit's SpliceArray content - this would include GPCR, Ion Channel and Nuclear Receptor, to name a few - are expected to be available by the end of the year.
