Triage Medical has received US FDA clearance to sell its 3.8mm CS compression device for stabilising the spine, as an aid to fusion procedures, through bilateral immobilisation of the facet joints. The device, which uses Triage's CLASP (Compression Locking Anchor with Secondary Purchase) technology, will provide percutaneous spinal fixation when combined with the Irvine, California firm's TELEPORT access system.
