Executive Summary
Eastman Kodak has received FDA clearance to sell in the US its DirectView DR7500 digital radiography (DR) system. The DR7500 includes a wall stand capable of three-axis movement to capture a wide-range of upright, horizontal and cross-table projections, the Rochester, New York-based company said. It also features a fixed, elevating table with four-way float that provides flexible patient positioning. To help streamline links between DR and computed radiology (CR) departments, the DR7500 is installed with Kodak's DirectView Capture Link system, aimed at improving workflow and productivity. Kodak will roll out the device in the last quarter of 2005.
