A US study has highlighted the potential value of computed tomography enterography (CTE) in detecting certain Crohn's disease patients. Researchers from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota also found that the noninvasive procedure was more specific and more accurate in detecting Crohn's than Given Imaging's capsule endoscopy (CE) device, PillCam.
