Digene has acquired non-exclusive rights to commercialise certain women's health in vitro diagnostic tests incorporating bead-based multiplexing technology developed by Luminex. Digene plans to use Luminex's xMAP technology in its next-generation Hybrid Capture platform to help it meet an expected increase in demand for products that can test for multiple markers or diseases.
