Executive Summary

Nigeria's federal executive council (FEC) has approved a policy to enable working men and women to access services relevant to HIV/AIDS. "The national workplace policy on HIV/AIDS" targets the pandemic through workplace initiatives that will provide prevention, care, information and support to sufferers. Dr Hassan Lawal, minister of employment, labour and productivity, has been mandated to put the policy into action.
