Only 10% of individuals in Germany suffering sleep apnoea are being treated for the condition. So says the German "healthy sleep initiative", the Initiativ Gesunder Schlaf, which has warned of the serious health dangers associated with the condition, including high risk of cardiovascular disease, heart attack and a 10-times increased risk of stroke.
