EC device and drug units set up joint working group

Executive Summary
The European Commission's unit responsible for medical devices is looking forward to the move to Directorate F facilitating the setting up a joint working group with its colleagues in the pharmaceutical unit within the same Directorate on drug/device borderline issues. (The devices unit already has its own working group on borderline issues.) In particular, there will need to be talks between the two different units to review the existing borderline products demarcation guidelines.
