Germany to review reprocessing of SUDs

The rules governing the refurbishment of medical devices for reuse in Germany will be reviewed until the end of the year, with the findings possibly being used to update the current regulations. So said the health ministry's head of devices, Wilfried Reischl, to a MedInform/BVMed gathering of some 100 delegates last month in Bonn. He said that a ban on reuse of SUDs was not currently on the agenda.
