Executive Summary
The UK's National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence's (NICE) is inviting applications for membership of its expert consideration panels, across its clinical, health technology and public health guidance programmes. Vacancies exist on all seven panels, whose subject areas are: cancer; children, adolescents and maternity; heart and stroke; long-term conditions; general and acute conditions; public health; and mental health. Last week, NICE announced the addition of several new topics to its forthcoming work programme, including MRI- or CT-based neuro-imaging for the assessment of first-onset atypical psychosis (see Clinica No 1222, p 8). The closing date for applications is September 22.
