The Irish Medicines Board (IMB) has increased its fees for certificates of free sale as of September 1 2006.These are sometimes needed by medtech companies for export, with countries in Asia and South America requiring them for registration purposes. To obtain certificates issued within two working days, it now costs Euro130 ($164), and Euro246 to have them issued within one day. Additional copies of certificates, available at the time of the initial request, remain at Euro20 a copy.
