The Spanish government's healthcare research institute, the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISC), is to establish a research "line" dedicated specifically to nanomedical technologies. The initiative, which will be put out to public tender in 2007, will seek to build on the EU's nanotech R&D commitment, as set out in the FP7 framework programme.
