Minrad International, the Buffalo, New York-based interventional pain management company, has won six new international contracts for its real-time image guidance systems. The new agreements are in Mexico, Venezuela, Hong Kong, Brazil, Turkey and Greece. Together with the deals in China and Taiwan - signed in January 2006 - the contracts will bring in at least $5.7m (according to minimum purchase terms) in revenue by 2009, Dan McAllister, vice-president of Minrad's international operations told Clinica. "The demand for the [image guidance systems] is growing and we are adding new contracts monthly now," he said.
