An ongoing pilot of Alberta Netcare Electronic Health Record's new system, the Alberta Netcare Portal 2006, is due to go live in early July. The system is expected to make 85% of lab tests available to health professionals, compared with just 55% at present. The new system will also provide text reports of diagnostic imaging results and prescriptions.
