CAS Medical has received a $2.8m grant from the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) to advance its Fore-Sight cerebral oximeter. The Phase IIb small business innovative research grant (SBIR) will be used over three years to fund clinical outcome studies that focus on the company's Laser-Sight technology, which is incorporated into the oximeter.
