Executive Summary
The UK has published for open consultation a second draft of the "Arrangements under Part IX of the drug tariff for the provision of stoma and incontinence appliances - and related services - to primary care". The revised proposals (and annex documents) are the result of two consultations on the arrangements and the terms of service, held in late 2006 and early 2007. The annexes relate to: service provision and remuneration; regulatory terms of service; reimbursement; and pricing related to Parts IXA (catheters), IXB (incontinence-related) and IXC (stoma). These can be downloaded from the DoH website, via: www.dh.gov.uk/en/Consultations/ . The deadline for responses is November 29.
