RTX Healthcare has received 510(k) clearance from the US FDA for its RTX3370 Telehealth monitor for patients outside hospitals. The system, designed to allow patients with chronic diseases to live more independently, monitors patients' vital signs from peripheral devices and collates subjective patient information from questionnaires; it then transmits the data to a central clinical information system.
