The UK is to "probably" extend immigration screening of tuberculosis to China and India, in addition to the several countries with which it is currently piloting such a programme. The state of such plans was set out this week (July 23) by the government spokesperson for health in the House of Lords, Baroness Royall of Blaisdon, during a debate on TB controls.
