Smith & Nephew moves BlueSky facility to Florida:

Executive Summary

Smith & Nephew has initiated the integration of BlueSky Medical, the negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) company it bought in May (see Clinica No 1256, p 12), into its advanced wound management business. S&N will carry out a phased withdrawal from BlueSky's facility in California over the next six months, with the latter's operations moved to S&N's US headquarters in Largo, Florida. The $1.2bn NPWT worldwide market is said to be the fastest growing segment in wound care.
