Executive Summary
The UK's Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has been renamed the Department of Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (DBERR). It is one of a raft of structural changes being introduced across government by new prime minister Gordon Brown, including a radical cabinet reshuffle which sees John Hutton appointed as the DBERR's secretary of state (see also this issue, p 15).
