Swedish 3D imaging technology developer XCounter is set to expand its business capacity by increasing the size of its headquarters in Stockholm. The extension of facilities, expected to be ready by September 2007, will include larger clean rooms for assembling XCT 3D imaging cameras, a department for camera testing, and additional offices for support functions. The company supplies X-ray companies with its devices, and expects the expansion to increase productivity. The extension will be rented from GE Real Estate Nordic, and will cost approximately SKr6.5m ($900,000). The current US digital X-ray system market is valued at $7bn, according to XCounter.
