Yena Lim Hua Yen is the new managing director of Singapore's Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). Formerly the agency's deputy managing director, Ms Lim's extensive public sector administration experience includes as director of the resource division for the Ministry of Trade and Industry. She succeeds Boon Swan Foo, who is to focus solely on Exploit Technologies, the marketing and commercialisation division of A*STAR, for which he is the executive chairman.
