In response to the swift growth of R&D in Singapore, the country has established a network that will promote the protection and commercialisation of technology-related intellectual property. The Technology Transfer Network (TTN) will provide a platform where technology transfer offices can share their expertise, IP commercialisation can be maximised and brand and thought-leadership can be enhanced. The objective is that Singapore's technological developments be knowledge-based and innovation-driven for maximum economic and social impact. TTN's founding members are Exploit Technologies Pte Ltd (Agency for Science, Technology and Research A*STAR), Nanyang Polytechnic, Nanyang Technopreneurship Center, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic and Temasek Polytechnic.
