Spain furthers medtech innovation with "techno-industrial development" body

Spain this week reach another milestone in its drive to boost the technological and industrial interests of the medical technology sector, with the launch of an "international innovation unit" (UII), Clinica has learnt. The medtech-specific UII has been established by industry federation FENIN on behalf of the trade and industry ministry's techno-industrial development department (CDTI). FENIN is one of 20 sectoral umbrella groups chosen to develop UIIs to promote the CDTI's aims in their respective areas.
