Executive Summary
Spanish regional health technology assessment (HTA) agency AATRM has said that 40.5% of people diagnosed with HIV in 2007 were not previously aware of having been infected. This is significantly higher than official national figures – in the order of 30%, Clinica understands – and adds weight to calls for screening activities to be widened.
