Spain's royal academy of medicine (RANM) has established a foundation, it was announced today, with the primary aim of better supporting the development of medical advances, communicating these and encouraging their use in the clinical arena. The "Fundaci�n Real Academia Nacional de Medicina" will seek to strengthen communication among healthcare industry players and organisations, in both the public and private sectors, said Professor Manuel Díaz-Rubio, who is president of the RANM and now also of its foundation.
